The Australiasian Conference on Listening and Spoken Language 2007

March 8-10, 2007

TOPIC: Listening and spoken language: the potential for today and tomorrow.

This conference will focus on current information on Hearing Biotechnology and Education to allow children and adults with hearing loss to achieve full listening and spoken language potentials.

The conference will feature presentations by world recognised authors and educators in the field of deaf education

  • Carol Flexer (USA)
  • Judith Simser (Canada)
  • Donald Goldberg (USA)

Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, Australia, will be the host city for this conference. Delegates can expect tropical temperatures in March to be in the range of 23 – 30 degrees celcius.

Professor Graeme Clark, the inventor of the multi-channel cochlear implant, will be an official guest at the Opening Ceremony of the Australasian Conference on Listening and Spoken Language.
